We want to help you avoid that, and have a job that brings more joy into your personal life!

When I first started thinking about work life integration, I was a Manager of 4 24/7 facilities. I would work my regular 10 hour day, then put in a few more at home, not to mention all the phone calls I got. I remember one day I was on a hike with my family, about 4 miles from our car when I got a call that I was needed to fix something that happened. Well, considering I was in the middle of the woods, I decided to call my boss and ask her to do it. Well she did it, but not without explaining to me I should not have gone anywhere without access to wifi and my laptop, because "Your job should be your top priority."

That was when I first thought about leaving my job to find something that allowed me to be with my family more.

After a few months of similar interactions with my boss, and numerous attempts to set boundaries and get help, I decided to walk away from the company I had spent 6 years of my life fully devoted to.

All because I was lacking in work life integration. See, I felt like I was 2 different people, at work I had to be a certain way, and at home I was the opposite. I was tired of seemingly living a lie, and I'm sure you are too.

So, what does work life integration look like?

It looks like leaving for work excited, and coming home fulfilled. It looks like doing something for work that complements your personal life as well as your personality. It looks like having plenty of time to be with your family, while making more than enough money to provide for them.

How do you get work life integration? By getting clear on what you want in life, by developing the skills that allow you to accomplish that life, by setting goals, by setting boundaries, by living a holistic lifestyle and part of that is ensuring what you do for work is something you value doing. Plus

Of course there are some that live to work, and a 80 hour work week is a must for them. That's ok, this isn't for them. This is for the ones that are tired of wandering through life lost, and are ready to rediscover their inner wisdom. To follow that inner wisdom to a life of fulfillment and happiness.
